A MEDAL of Honor war hero has slammed "King of Instagram" Dan Bilzerian for his video showing him fleeing the shooting in Las Vegas.

Dakota Meyer, the husband of Sarah Palin's daughter Bristol, labelled the video "disgusting".

Las Vegas resident Bilzerian, who is famous for his videos displaying his gun collection and bikini model parties, was at the concert when the shooting erupted.

He posted a chilling video of himself fleeing the Las Vegas mass shooting, saying he saw one girl get "shot in the head".

In another video, he described grabbing a gun from his vehicle, before later adding he had left the scene as there was nothing he could do to help.

But Dakota slammed the professional poker player for running away when facing danger.

The award-winning veteran wrote on Instagram: "This is why children shouldn't classify heroes by their followers or their photos.

"@danbilzerian this is what kills me about people like you. Always playing 'operator dress up' and so so tough when the cameras are on.

"A woman just got shot in the head and you are running away filming that's not what operators do. Please stop trying to be someone your not.

"People are dying, you're running away not helping them and pretending it's worthy of a video is disgusting."

Bilzerian had filmed himself fleeing the scene near the Mandalay Bay resort and casino as rapid gunfire rang out in the background.

The 36-year-old only had enough time to say "holy f*** this girl just got shot in the f***ing head".

He then added "so f***ing crazy" before the story cut out.

Shooter Stephen Paddock unloaded hundreds of rounds of ammo on the Route 91 Harvest country music festival from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay resort.

Cops later confirmed he appeared to have shot himself before cops could reach him and said they don't believe there are any other suspects.
